Hope Carew, Co-Creator
Hope is an actress who grew up all over the country and landed in Austin, Texas, where she has performed with Gigglepants Improv for four years, appeared in several short films and commercials, and directed dozens of plays. She is excited to make her directorial debut behind the camera with Mister Nice Girls.
Allison O'Conor, Co-Creator
Allison is a standup comic in Austin, Texas. She fell in love with comedy as a freshman member of UT’s Gigglepants Improv, and started doing stand up midway through her sophomore year while living in her sorority house. In the past couple of years she has performed in random nooks and crannies across the US, but is best known as the cohost of the popular weekly standup showcase, Buzzkill at The Buzz Mill.
Eman Esfandi, "Mike"
Eman Esfandi is an actor based out of Austin, TX. He is represented by Collier Talent Agency, trained in Meisner technique with Laurel Vouvray at In The Moment Acting Studio, and enjoys long walks by the river, since there isn't a beach in Austin.
Emily McIntyre, "Sarah Beth Foster"
Emily is a fourth year B.A in Theatre and Dance major at The University of Texas with an emphasis in musical theatre. Recent roles include "Nadine" in The Wild Party, "Kate/Chutney Windham" in Legally Blonde the Musical, "Belle" in Disney's Beauty and the Beast and "Liesel" in The Sound of Music. She is also actively involved in improv comedy as well as writing and performing sketch comedy through groups on campus.
Bill Dollahite, "Bill"
Bill is a former Professional Grand Prix driver with Ferrari. He has starred in commercials and promotions for Lexus, Chrysler, Fiat and Dell as well as with radio on PBS and Clear Channel. Celebrity host in “Legends of Racing” with Jaguar. Experienced husband, father and “loving step-dad”.
Devon Walker, "Devon"
Devon Walker is a standup comic in Austin, Texas. He has been featured on Moontower Comedy Festival, Big Sky Comedy Festival, and has been recognized as a new "comic to watch" by Comedy Central.
Brock Hinojosa, "Jaxton"
Brock Hinojosa is an 11 year old kid with a 20 year old outlook on life. He enjoys all sports but mainly gets a kick out of messing with his twin teenage sisters. If he is not passing a ball of some sort you will find him building something creative!
Madeline Dimayuga, Producer
Being a woman who loves to laugh, Madeline became an Executive Producer for one of Texas Student Television's most popular comedic shows, "Longhorn LateNight" in January 2014. From that position, she elevated to the role of Entertainment Director of the Entertainment department of Texas Student Television in January 2017. She has also served the role of Producer on the MFA graduate pre-thesis film The Gardener (2015), RTF Undergraduate Thesis film Fourth Lunch (2016), and an independent horror film entitled Who We Were Before (2017). She is hoping that Mr. Nice Girls will give her a chance to show her skills outside of her collegiate environment, and is excited to be a part of such a talented and dynamic group of young, female creators.
Christiane Escobar, Director of Photography
Christiane Escobar is a director/cinematographer based out of Austin, Texas. She has shot and assisted on countless narrative shorts as well as on local feature length films, and is excited to start production on Mr. Nice Girls. This will be Christiane's first time working with a mainly female crew.
Ellen Culver, Editor
Ellen Culver’s area of speciality is within post production editing, but she also has experience within on site editing, behind the scenes production, and more. Her most recent work includes the behind the scenes video for Oberhofer's new "Sea of Dreams" music video as well as edits for student filmmakers in the Austin area. She aspires to be a feature length film maker, preferably for comedy, and what better way to achieve that goal than by working on Mr. Nice Girls. She's so very excited to work with some of the funniest people she knows!
Brigid Ludwig, Production Designer
Brigid is a senior at the University of Texas whose creative experience dates to third grade when she founded her own company selling classmates small, slightly misshapen, clay animals. In recent years, she’s been improvising with Gigglepants improv, working freelance design, and worming her way onto film sets. She is excited to have the opportunity to apply both her understanding of comedic storytelling and many years of experience in visual arts and design.
